Hanuman is one of my two ishta-devtas (the other being Ganesha) and Sundara Kandam - the 6th chapter of Valmiki's Ramayan - where Hanuman goes in search of Sita, finds her, gives her Rama's ring, sets fire to Lanka, returns to Rama with Sita's hair accessory and conveys that he has found her - is extremely dear to my heart. It holds deep emotional significance for me, as it is closely connected to the birth of my second child and ever since has been a guiding force in my life. I turn to Sundara Kandam during the tough, testing phases in my life and each time, my faith has been rewarded. Godai Arts has immortalised my deep connection to Sundara Kandam by bringing this beautiful mural to life. See how divinity shines through - Hanuman, exhilarated yet humbled, in the presence of Sita, her silent radiance shining through her confused expression, giving meaning to her mixed emotions of sorrow and unbelievable joy.
